Experiences

In seven days around Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a traveller can enjoy the suggested routes given before with greater ease, even with the possibility to be delighted with the permanent or temporary activities developed day and night in the city. It is therefore important to take a look at the programme of festivals, festivities and the cultural and sport agendas of the city.
Apart from visiting the points of interest: Vegueta-Triana, Ciudad Jardín, Pueblo Canario, the Botanical Gardens, Las Canteras Beach, and the Port; the city also has many other quieter but interesting corners: the fishing district of San Cristóbal, the open air shopping areas, and the always busy and well priced shopping centres, the large urban parks and numerous terraces with cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy a chat, a comforting stop or a reading.
The city is a perfect departure place to discover the island, whether doing a round tour or directly going to its centre and its spectacular mountain areas; to the large beaches of the south or to the traditional and agricultural landscapes of the north.
