Behind the Cathedral is the Plaza del Pilar Nuevo, a former gathering place for the women who came to collect water from the central pillar. In this square which still retains a charming stone fountain, is held the Craft and Culture Market. It is surrounded by buildings from different eras and styles, and among them highlights the green portico of the Columbus House, an extraordinary facade that leaves no one indifferent.
