The City Council of Tourism of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has started its guided visits to the main stage of the Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, located at Parque Santa Catalina. Turists from different countries have begun to know first hand the structure, design and ambiance of the core of this festivities. Visitors are leaded by guides with the support of the House of Tourism, seat of the Council, where many services are given to visitors (tourist information, recommendation of points of interest o in the city, etc.)
The guided visits to the main stage of the Carnival are foreseen for the following dates and hours:
4th, 8th,11th, 15th and 18th of February, at 10am, 11am, 12 noon and 1pm.
During the visits, guides inform tourists about the characteristics of the structure, its design and its importance in the main festivities in town.
Besides, visitors can temporarily become a Drag Queen or the Queen of the Carnival thanks to a pair of die-cut figures located on the stage or at the entrance of the House of Tourism, allowing visitors to put their faces in the empty spaces so that they have their funny pictures taken, a nice memory of their visit to the Capital City.
