El concejal de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Pablo Barbero, se ha reunido, en la Casa del Turismo, con el responsable de operaciones en el Mediterráneo, Norte de África y Canarias, de la Royal Caribbean, Alessandro Carollo, para preparar la escala inaugural del Anthem of the Seas, el nuevo coloso de esta naviera. En la reunión participaron representantes de la Autoridad Portuaria de Las Palmas y del Patronato de Turismo de Gran Canaria.

El barco tiene prevista su atraque en la capital grancanaria el miércoles 27 de mayo, con 4.000 turistas a bordo, y ya ha anunciado 12 escalas en el Puerto de Las Palmas entre 2015 y 2016, con 50.000 turistas.

La Royal Caribbean integra a Celebrity Cruises, Pullmantur, Azamara y CDF.

El Anthem of the Seas está considerado como uno de los barcos más tecnológicos y modernos en la actualidad y realizará su primera travesía, que incluye a la capital grancanaria, desde el puerto británico de Southampton.

City Councillor of Tourism of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Pablo Barbero, met Mr. Alessandro Carollo, Royal Caribbean Cruises Port Operations Manager of Mediterranean, North Africa and the Canaries, at at the House of Tourism to prepare the inaugural sailing stop of the brand new Anthem of the Seas, the latest colossus of this company. Representatives of the Port Authority of Las Palmas and the Tourist Board of Gran Canaria also took part at the meeting.

The ship has a scheduled stop at the Gran Canarian capital city on Wednesday 27th of May, with 4000 tourists on board, and a total of 12 stops has also been announced between 2015 and 2016, with 50000 visitors.
