For those wishing to sample local produce, there is nothing better than visiting one of the city’s markets. Mercado del Puerto and its surroundings are another key reference point for discovering Canarian cuisine and dishes from different parts of the world.
Beyond the hustle and bustle of the city, the Monte Lentiscal and Bandama area, in Tafira, offers the opportunity to savour traditional Canarian gastronomy and discover the island’s wines, which enjoy their own designation of origin.
