Coastal Trail of the Bahía de Las Palmas

The port landscape, panoramic views of the city from the coast and the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean are some of the scenes revealed along the coastal trail of the Bahía de Las Palmas.

The route follows a seaside promenade that runs parallel to the Avenida Marítima, the city’s main artery, covering approximately 10 kilometres.

The trail, which can be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, begins at the Onda Atlántica, next to the Mercado del Puerto. It continues along the muelle Sanapú and the muelle Wilson of the Puerto de Las Palmas, reaches the parque marítimo Santa Catalina—beside the cruise pier—, passes by Las Alcaravaneras Beach and the Sports Marina, crosses the historic district of Vegueta, continues through the seafaring neighbourhood of San Cristóbal and finally reaches La Laja Beach, the southern boundary of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
