International Canarias Jazz & Más Músicas Creativas Festival

For more than thirty years, every July, the International Canarias Jazz & Más Músicas Creativas Festival has brought to the islands and to the city some of the most important national and international jazz soloists and ensembles. Performances by Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Take 6, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter, Michael Camilo and Kenny Garrett have turned Las Palmas de Gran Canaria into one of the must-attend jazz destinations of the summer.

The Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, the Teatro Pérez Galdós, the Teatro Cuyás, the Teatro Guiniguada and the plaza de Santa Ana are some of the venues that host the concerts of this long-established festival.
