Members of the three traditional folk music groups from Galicia, Valencia and Brazil, participants of the 20th National Folklore Festival of the Island of Gran Canaria made today Tuesday 6th of August a visit around Las Palmas de Gran Canaria aboard the Tourist Bus to get to know the Capital City and its cultural, historical and shopping offer. Folk groups Os Gauchos, from Brazil; Grupo de Danses i Canços Castallas, from Valencia and group Rebulir de Cultura Tradicional, from Galicia, 75 musician, singers and dancers were seduced by the colonial character of Vegueta, the Cosmopolitan character of the city as well as the commercial and gastronomic offer of the Grancanarian Capital. During their visit, the participants of the Folklore Festival were interested on the traditional culture of the city and, more specially, on the trajectory of artist Néstor Martín-Fernández de la Torre, who designed the traditional costume of Gran Canaria.www.lpavisit.com [facebook] LPA Visit [twitter] @LpaVisit
