Los turistas de cruceros pueden visitar desde hoy Las Palmas de Gran Canaria en taxi, gracias al acuerdo de colaboración alcanzado entre el Ayuntamiento y la Asociación de Trabajadores Autónomos del Taxi, ATAT, por el que se establecen dos rutas guiadas por las principales zonas de interés turístico de la capital grancanaria. Los taxistas se convierten de este modo en "agentes turísticos" y ofrecerán un servicio de traslados a precio cerrado por cada viaje (no por pasajero) para los cruceristas que quieran conocer lo mejor de la Ciudad en unas horas y rentabilizar de esta manera al máximo su tiempo antes de volver a embarcar. La primera ruta denominada Centro Ciudad incluye además del Puerto de La Luz, la visita al Confital, el Castillo de La Luz; el Mercado del Puerto; el Auditorio Alfredo Kraus y la Playa de Las Canteras; Altavista; el Pueblo Canario el Museo Néstor y el Hotel Santa Catalina; los barrios de Triana y Vegueta; y el barrio marinero de San Cristóbal. Un recorrido de unos 35 kilómetros aproximadamente por un precio de 70 euros. La segunda opción es la Ruta Natural, que incluye además del recorrido por la Ciudad; una visita a la Caldera de Bandama y al Jardín Canario. Una excursión de 67 kilómetros de recorrido por 90 euros. Los turistas contarán con folletos, con cada uno de los recorridos, en inglés y español que les servirá como información complementaria de la excursión que realicen a bordo de los taxis. El folleto contiene un plano con los recorridos y la localización de los puntos a visitar, fotografías de los mismos e información complementaria como un teléfono de información y los horarios y localización de los Puntos de Información Turística municipales. The first route, called Downtown Route includes a depart from the Port of la Luz, a visit to El Confital, La Luz Castle, Port Market, Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and Las Canteras Beach, Altavista Viewpoint, Pueblo Canario, Néstor Museum and Santa Catalina Hotel, the boroughs of Triana and Vegueta and the fishing borough of San Cristóbal; a journey of some 35 kilometres and a fixed price of 70€.
