The start of the Transgrancanaria 2019, a key event of the Ultra Trail World Tour®, will take place in the Plaza de La Puntilla of Las Canteras Beach in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Participant trail runners from all around the world, including top runners according to the list of the ITRA® (International Trail Running Association), will run their first kilometres along the city beach, heading to the 128km of trails that will lead them to the southmost part of Gran Canaria where they will find the finish line.
