LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA

The murgas have thousands of followers in the carnival. Their songs comment ironically and critically on the various social and political events of the year. These groups take part in the festival’s most high-profile events, in the main parade and street bands. The Carnival awards prizes to the best murgas in a competition held on the Parque Santa Catalina stage.

Tickets: Thursday 13^th of February at 10:00 (10am GMT) and onwards. Unique price: 5 €.
On sale at entradas.laprovincia.es and at the ticket office located in Parque Santa Catalina (Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00). Only a maximum of 4 tickets per persona are to be sold.
