Juan Negrín Foundation keeps Juan Negrín's Archive in custody; it is composed by 150.000 public and private documents, many of them contemporary to his life as Minister and Head of State of the Spanish 2nd Republic, during the last years of the Spanish Civil War, and also during his later work exiled in Paris.

The documental fund, considered by historians as one of the most important ones to get to know the centarl years of the Spanish and European 20th Century, was kept away from Franco's dictatorship by Negrin's family in Paris after the defeat of 1939. the fund came back to Spain in 2003 thanks to the support of Negrín's family, the Foundation and the helpo of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
