La Feria Internacional del Mar, FIMAR 2014 tendrá lugar del 4 al 6 de abril, en la Plaza de Canarias, en el Edificio Miller y en el Muelle Deportivo, con el objetivo de posicionarse como el principal escaparate de la Economía Azul en el Archipiélago canario.
El programa de FIMAR crecerá en su cuarta edición gracias a la colaboración en espacio y en expositores. La Feria logró en 2013 la participación de 64 instituciones y empresas y en la edición de este año se espera llegar a las 90 carpas y 75 instituciones en la Plaza de Canarias, el 70% de ellas de carácter privado. En cuanto a los espacios, en esta edición se sumarán el Edificio Miller, en el Parque Santa Catalina y el Muelle Deportivo.
En estos cuatro años de celebración la Feria Internacional del Mar ha crecido más de un 90 % en número de expositores con más de 15 mil visitantes en la edición de 2013.
Exhibiciones, tecnología marina, compra - venta de embarcaciones, novedades del sector, jornadas sobre empleo y Economía Azul en una singular Pecha Kucha; talleres sobre náutica, nudos, pesca artesanal, robótica, embarcaciones y navegación; gymkanas infantiles; presentaciones, música y rutas gastronómicas se verán complementadas con paseos al Puerto de La Luz por mar; performances y una gran parada de embarcaciones de vela ligera, salvamento marítimo y deportes náuticos.

The International Sea Fair, FIMAR 2014 will take place from the 4th to the 6th of April in Plaza de Canarias square, in the Miller Building, and in the City Marina, aiming to position as the main showroom of the Blue Economy in the Canary Islands.
The FIMAR schedule will groww bigger in this fourth edition thanks to the joined efforts and larger exhibition spaces. the Fair had in 2013 the participation of 64 institutions and enterprises. For this 2014 edition, 90 booths are expected to be ready to show novelties and updated technology of more than 75 institutions, 70% of which are privately owned, in Plaza de Canarias square. As for the spaces in this edition, also the Miller Building, in Parque Santa Catalina park and the City Marina will sum up.
In these four years, the International Sea Fair has grown bigger than a 90% in the number of exhibitions receiving more than 15 thousand visitors in the 2013 edition.
Exhibitions, sea-related technology, sell and purchase of yachts, novelties, sessions about employment and Blue Economy at a singular Pecha Kucha; workshops about nautical sports, nots, traditional fishing techniques, robotics, yachts and sailing; gymkanas for children; presentations, music and gastronomic routes will also be complemented by excursions around the Port of la Luz on boat, and a big sailing parade accompanied by the Sea Rescue and other water sport boats.
