El Carnaval del Mundo de la Fantasía llega un año más a los teléfonos inteligentes de todo el mundo. La actualización de las aplicaciones de la fiesta ya está disponible, tanto para el sistema Android como para los usuarios de Apple: iPhone, ITouch e Ipad.

Miles de usuarios podrán descargar gratuitamente de Google Play o de App Store –en función del sistema operativo de su teminal-, el programa del Carnaval del Mundo de la Fantasía que incluye, además, el plano de localización, una descripción de todos sus actos, accesos directos a la página web oficial del Carnaval y al portal de turismo www.LPAVisit.com, al blog de la fiesta, con las últimas noticias, y a las páginas que el Carnaval tiene en las redes sociales Facebook, Twitter y Flickr.
La aplicación para móviles del programa, desarrollada por Overcom 7 Islas, ha sido descargada hasta la fecha por 10.000 usuarios de Apple y 2.000 de Android, teniendo en cuenta que ésta última se creó la pasada edición de la fiesta y la primera, en 2011. Su implantación renueva la apuesta del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria por las nuevas tecnologías aplicadas a la información, un desarrollo que permite también un mayor alcance entre los ciudadanos sin incrementar por ello el consumo de papel, dado el alto número de terminales existentes, la tendencia a la tarifa plana y las zonas de WiFi gratis.

The Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria comes again to the smartphones worldwide. The update of the party app is already available, both for Android and Apple users (iPhone, iTouch and iPad).

Thousands of users can download free from Google Play or App Store -depending on their smartphone software- the official schedule of the Carnival of the World of Fantasy including a venue map, description of events and direct access to the official websites of the Carnival and the Tourism www.LPAVisit.com, to the blog of the party and the pages the Carnival have on the social nets Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
The smartphone app has been developed by Overcom 7 Islas, and has already been downloadesd by 10.000 Apple users and 2.000 Android users, regarding that the latter was created in the last edition and the version for Apple was created in 2011. The app renews the City Hall's bet on new technologies applied to information, a development that eases a close relationship between the city Hall and the citizenship while reducing paper waste due to the widespread of smartphones among the city's population, servers flat-rates, and free WiFi areas.
