Las Palmas de Gran Canaria offers several cycle lanes and a public bicycle rental service, with collect and leave stations placed on strategic spots of the city. A good climate all year round allows the use of bicycles with a high standard of safety, specially on the lower part of the city, which is very flat. A special mention must be given to the Seaside Avenue that permits many cyclists to enjoy a ride along all its east coast.
